The mission of Grace Episcopal School is to foster a lifelong love of learning in a culture of Christian values. We challenge and inspire all children to become thoughtful and independent members of their communities, and we minister to their families with loving service. Our mission is accomplished through our dedicated and caring staff members who demonstrate Christian values through the Episcopal tenets.
The philosophy of Grace Episcopal School is to provide an enriching Christian environment that will enable each child to develop to full potential. We strive to create a positive, loving environment to help each child develop socially, emotionally, intellectually, and spiritually. We provide opportunities for creative, imaginative, and artistic expression. Grace Episcopal School shall function as an integral part of the parish of Grace Episcopal Church and shall serve as an educational arm of its pastoral and missionary life.

During the week we have...
Chapel - We sing songs, hear a short Bible story, pray, and celebrate birthday blessings.
Music with Ms. Hailey - We enjoy musical instruments, songs, and learning musical terminology.
Cooking - We learn about measuring, working together, good health practices, and changes in state of matter.
Outside we have a Learning Garden where we explore growing vegetables and plants. We also have an outdoor learning lab - Outdoor Wonder Learning Lab (OWLL).
There is also an outdoor stage for our students with dress up clothing so they may create and imagine stories.
At Grace we use Thompson's Scope and Sequence as the basis for our preschool curriculum. The "Handwriting Without Tears" curriculum is used in the
Pre-K4's and Kindergarten classes. We use Starfall for our kindergarten curriculum for language arts, social studies, and science. ABeka Math is our adopted math curriculum for kindergarten. Our curricula build an early childhood program that allows children to grow and develop as Jesus did - in "wisdom and stature" and in "favor with God and man" (Luke 2:52). Children's growth is a process, not an event. Thompson's Scope & Sequence, along with Starfall, Sadlier, and ABeka curricula, provide guidance and activities to help each child develop language, reading, writing, math and other foundational skills, appropriate to his or her stage of development.
